Featuring many of their current lead dancers, including Larissa Lezhnina, Altynai Asylmuratova, Sergei Vikharev, Faroukh Ruzimatov, Konstantin Zaklinsky, Yelena Pankova, and more, the Kirov's reputation as standard bearers of the ballet canon compellingly presented in this production produced and directed by Thomas Grimm. With the Orchestra of the Mariinsky Theatre conducted by Victor A. Fedotov, the included CD contains the entirety of the soundtrack to the film.
