Generation-past horror movie actor Byron Orlok (Boris Karloff) was going through the motions of one last promotional tour, feeling irrelevant in the face of the modern day's real-world terrors. He'd no inkling that his path would fatefully cross with a combat-traumatized salesman (Tim O'Kelly) abruptly gone on a shooting spree.
