Plus qu'une performance bouleversante (Jodie Foster à son sommet), c'est avant tout un film à la limite du supportable sans toutefois tomber dans le voyeurisme gratuit. Une oeuvre grave sur un sujet dur, intelligemment construit et superbement interprété. Inoubliable et perturbant.

Dieser Film zeigt, wie Vergewaltigungen bagatellisiert werden. Dem Opfer wird noch eine Mitschuld zugewiesen, weil sie sexy gekleidet war! Sehr eindrücklich wie das Opfer, welches aus der unteren Schicht stammt, aufsteht und sich gegen die gebildeten Anwälte wehrt. Super schauspielerische Leistung!

Ein simpler Film, fast zu einfach fürs Kino. Gleicht manchmal mehr einem TV-Film. Ist jedoch beeindruckend gespielt. Wem "Philadelphia" gefällt, dürfte an diesem Film seine Freude haben.
