Set entirely in a jail cell, Raul Julia stars as Valentine, a macho political prisoner who shares the cell with a hopelessely romantic, effeminate gay man Molina, played by William Hurt. To pass the time, the two men enter Molina's fantasy world of romantic films in this legendary adaptation of Manuel Puig's classic novel.
