During a 1921 archaeological dig, the expedition members discover a sarcophagus in an unmarked grave. It in fact contains the mummy of priest Imhotep, who was buried alive 3,700 years ago as a punishment for attempting to bring his former lover back to life.

Ich hab den Film mal vor Jahren im TV gesehen; nur Schade, dass er anscheinend nie auf deutsch übersetzt wurde. Er ist ein Superfilm für die damaligen Verhältnisse. Sehr empfehlenswert.
