Description

Die Darsteller retten ein recht unmotiviertes Drehbuch. So ist der Streifen trotz reichlich Schmalz durchgehend bekömmlich.

Die Story hat mehrere Elemente, die insgesamt nicht uninteressant sind. Vater-Tochter-Konflikt, die schamlos-aussichtslose Lockung von Mitarbeitern, Überbewertung der Leistung der Jugend und Technologie, etc. Zusammen genommen ist das alles gut gelungen, aber eben auch nichts kontroverses. Fazit: Ein homerun für C.Eastwood. Produktionsteam kommt von seiner Firma und Regie führte sein langjähriger Regieassistent. Darstellerisch haben alle 3 Hauptprotagonisten eine prima connection. Insofern eine sichere Wahl für entspannte Unterhaltung. Besser im O-Ton.
