A US Marine and a Russian countess fall in love behind the barricades. The film also stars David Niven as the British Ambassador. The song "So Little Time" was nominated for an Oscar.

Unglaublich aber wahr. Die meisten Filme dieser Art, wie El CId, Untergang des römischen Reiches etc. wurden damals im 70 mm Verfahren und mit 6 Tonspuren hergestellt. Nun bequemt man sich die ganze Serie in simplen Mono-Ton herauszugeben!
