Fleeing the horrors of an apocalyptic nuclear war, a survivor comes into contact with a mysterious substance which transforms him into a horrifying creature. A group of his fellow survivors, trapped in an abandoned government facility by a rock slide, must now destroy him or face their own deaths at the hands of the monster.
