Following a motorcycle accident that leaves a charismatic member (Jean Dujardin, The Artist) of their group in an intensive care unit, a close-knit circle of friends embark on their annual summer getaway to Cap Ferrat in the southwest of France. Staying at wealthy family man Max`s (François Cluzet, Tell No One, The Intouchables) spacious vacation home, the sunny beachside idyll quickly becomes the backdrop of heated tensions and outbursts among the old acquaintances as the little white lies just beneath the surface of their relationships reach a boiling point.

Nicht umsonst heisst es, wer braucht noch Feinde wenn er Freunde hat. Na, ganz so schlimm ist's in dieser Geschichte nicht. Doch trotz jahrelanger Freundschaft staut sich eine banale Kritik/ Neid an und jeder der in der trauten Runde versucht stets eine gute Show gegenüber den anderen abzuliefern. Fazit: Schön zu sehen wie Egoismen und Oberflächlichkeiten des öfteren eine Freundschaft begründen und erhalten. Konstruktive Ehrlichkeit wird weniger häufig goutiert, da dann mehr Tiefgang erforderlich wäre. Mir gefiel die Geschichte recht gut, zumal die Darsteller auch prima harmonierten und eine überzeugende Leistung gezeigt haben.
