Description

A woman heads to Ireland in order to force her boyfriend to accept her wedding proposal by scheduling it on leap day, the only time when he couldn`t refuse due to the country`s tradition in this Spyglass Entertainment romantic comedy. also für Romantiker ein absolutes Muss, die Chemie zwischen den Hauptdarstellern ist perfekt und die Dialoge witzig. Aber halt nicht für Leute, die 300 mögen!

Wer kennt sie nicht, die name-dropping, brandname-shop-drop und meist (unwichtiges) alles planenden Kontrollmädels im (Tarn)Gewand einier selbstsicheren Karrieristin. Sie kommt in dieser Geschichte als "Saulus" vor und wandelt sich zum "Paulus". Aber auf eine durchaus herzliche Weise. Fazit: Vielfältige Landschaftsaufnahmen Irlands garnieren hier eine leichtfüssige und vorhersagbare Story, die durchaus im Stil der screwball-Komödien inszeniert worden ist. Eine sympathische cast sichert diesen home run. Manchmal fand ich's zwar ein bisschen over-the-top, aber trotzdem sehenswert für Romantiker.
