A conservative island community is under attack! Port Gamble, Washington is being overrun with brain-eaters, and the people seem powerless to stave them off. A ragtag band of rebels led by Frida (Janette Armand), an Iranian college student suspected of being an Iraqi terrorist, and Tom (Doug Fahl), a gay businessman who has returned to town with his partner to come out to his mother, tries to turn the tide and push the invading hordes of undead back.

Habe gerade einen kleinen Zombie-Marathon hinter mir. Und nach "Zombieland" und "Doghouse" (beide sehr gut) hat mich dieser Film hier nicht aus den Schuhen gehauen. Sicher, die Schauspieler machen ihre Sache allesamt gut, es gibt ein paar gorige Szenen, einige Szenen sind wirklich witzig (gewisse Pfeilspitzen gegen die USA waren allerdings überflüssig, Herr Hamedami) und der Film wird nie langweilig. Trotzdem würde ich mir den Movie kein zweites Mal antun. Dafür ist er dann doch nicht spannend und/oder originell genug....
