Parabel über Schönheit und das Altern. Anmutige Bilder und mit seinem Thema natürlich durchaus Gedankenanregend. Doch man wird erst nach gut einer Stunde wirklich von der Geschichte gepackt, weil zuvor zuvieles absehbar ist und sich nichts überraschendes entwickelt.

Sicherlich gute Schauspieler und eine wunderschöne Penelope.
Aber eine todtraurige Story, so dass nach dem Film einfach nur ein schlechtes Gefühl übrig bleibt.
