Description
Un virus alieno viene trasportato da alcuni meteoriti e giace sepolto tra i ghiacci dell'Antartide da migliaia di anni. Agli inizi degli anni 2000, una squadra di geologi raccoglie le rocce che contengono l'organismo alieno che, una volta liberatosi, scatenerà la più mortale delle epidemie della storia, avviando il genere umano sulla strada dell'estinzione.
