Description
La giovane Rachele Schpitendavel, figlia di un uomo di rigidi costumi, sognando di diventare ballerina, lascia la provincia per New York, dove comincia a frequentare, tra le quinte, il varietà di Billy Minski, nel quale si esibiscono due comici, il timido Chick e lo sfrontato Raymond Paine. Billy si trova nei guai, poiché Fowler, un funzionario della Lega per la repressione del vizio, cerca di fargli chiudere il teatro.
