Schottische Krimis

Die John Rebus-Bestseller des Schotten Ian Rankin zu verfilmen sind heikle Unterfangen. Von den beiden angebotenen Versionen bevorzuge ich klar diese hier mit John Hannah als Rebus. Vielleicht entspricht Ken Stott (in der anderen Verfilmung) visuell und altersmässig eher dem in den Romanen geschilderten Rebus...doch die Filme selber (mit Stott) sind meiner Meinung nach zu oberflächlich und "sauber" ausgefallen. Die vier in Edinburgh handelnden Filme mit Hannah erscheinen überzeugender und detailreicher und fangen die Roman Stimmung besser ein. Als Bonus findet sich hier zudem noch eine Art "Making Of" mit einem Kommentar von Rankin himself.
