Ein sicherlich gut gemachter Stop-Motion-Animationsfilm, der aber im vergleich zu den Klassikern von Tim Burton (Corpse Bride, The Nightmare before Christmas) doch eher nur einer jüngeren Zielgruppe zu empfehlen ist.
Interessantes Detail!: Jack Skellington, die Hauptfigur aus "Tim Burtons Nightmare before Christmas" hat in diesem Film einen kurzen Gastauftritt als Pirat!!
