Der Film ist nicht schlecht, doch meinen Geschmack hat er leider nicht getroffen.

Löblich von AB, dass man eine uncut Version veröffentlichte.
Kann man sich mal angucken, aber mehr auch nicht.

CANNIBAL MAN ist für diesen Film eigentlich kein passender Titel. Wie DRILLER KILLER und recht vielen anderen Filmen wurde dieser hier vor allem durch den reisserischen Filmtitel, einige auffalende Filmplakate, dem Eintrag in der «Video Nasties List» – und den damit verbundenen Verboten – so bekannt. Auch wenn der Film (erstaunlich) wenig Gore und noch weniger Effekte bietet, hat er mir sehr gut gefallen. Die Film-Qualität ist gut, die wenigen Extras auf der DVD leider nicht. Tipp: Kauft die günstigere Doppel-DVD mit MOUNTAIN OF THE CANNIBAL GOD.
