Limited creamy white colored vinyl. - In February 2021 Eric Clapton's live shows at The Royal Albert Hall were cancelled due to the global pandemic. Determined to play he brought his band together in the English countryside. In the absence of a live audience he decided to record the performances. This is the culmination of their sessions together at Cowdray House, West Sussex, England.

Arrivé à cet âge plus que raisonnable de 76 ans, il n'a plus rien à prouver. Cet album feutré, aussi doux qu'un bon Havane au coin d'une cheminée de Noël est un régal pour les amateurs de smooth blues. Il revisite ses (vieux) classiques avec une belle brochette (Nathan East - Steve Gadd entre autres) de vieux copains. Réécouter Layla en "unplugged" est un délice, surtout avec cette voix qui a pris un timbre "maturé". Un joli cadeau de Noël pour un quinqua ou sexagénère amateur de blues et de Laid back.
