    Schon der Titel weist darauf hin, dass es hier um die Fortsetzung des ersten Albums "Pretenders" geht. Gradliniger und energischer Rock, zumeist aber gleichzeitig melodi0‹2s und sensibel, dazu die einzigartige Stimme von Chrissie Hynde - eine Formel, die dieser Band zurecht Erfolg brachte, leider fast weniger, als sie verdiente. 0‰5brigens ist "II", wie auch das Debut und "Learning to Crawl" noch heute sehr zug0Š1nglich und eing0Š1ngig. Zeitlos, w¨¹rde ich sagen.
