This limited edition I STILL DO Vacuum-tube USB + CD Deluxe Denim Box is wrapped to resemble Eric's vintage jean jacket. The custom vacuum-tube USB was created to reflect the warm analog recording process reminiscent of the heyday of rock 'n' roll and used in the I STILL DO recording sessions. I STILL DO was recorded on 16 tracks and on 2-inch tape, with legendary producer Glyn Johns (who also produced Eric’s iconic “Slowhand").

      Der Song "Spiral" vermag etwas Clapton zu versprühen, der Rest ist dürftig bis langweilig.

      All der Lärm, all die Hast, all die Gier nach den nächsten Top-Hits, noch mehr Technik-Schicki-Micki... all das findet man nicht auf Clapton's neuem Wurf. Man findet relaxte, schöne Songs, und stellt fest, dass möglicherweise kein Lied besonders hervor sticht, aber alle zusammen ergeben ein stimmiges, fast vollständig überzeugendes Bild von einem gereiften Musiker, der sein Heil nicht in immer komplexeren Arrangements sucht. Ein wenig Blues, Soul, Ballade, Gospel und Südstaatenfeeling, wunderbar gespielt - geht direkt ins Herz. Auch wenn keine neuen Klassiker dabei sind, mir gefällt's.
