The second Crossroads Guitar Festival - a day-long concert featuring legendary music & collaborations - was held on July 28, 2007 to benefit the Crossroads Centre in Antigua. Filmed in HD, this two disc DVD features over four hours of historic performances from that day. Since it's inception, Eric Clapton's vision for the festival has been to create an event where his friends & contemporaries can have fun & jam together for the benefit of a good cause.
Zum zweiten Mal rief Mentor Eric Clapton am 28. Juli 2007 zum Crossroads Guitar Festival. Fand das erste Festival im Juni 2004 in Cotton Bowl-Stadion in Dallas, Texas statt, trafen sich die hochkarätigen Gäste diesmal im Toyota Park, Illinois. Auch in diesem Jahr bestand das Line-Up aus Superlativen der Blues- und Rockgeschichte, und für eine Überraschung sorgte unter anderem Clapton`s erster gemeinsamer Bühnenauftritt mit seinem Ex-Kollegen aus Blind Faith, Stevie Winwood. Zu den weiteren grandiosen Gästen gehörten eine überwältigende Reihe der weltbesten Gittaristen und Songwriter: Jeff Beck, Robert Cray, Sheryl Crow, Vince Gill, Buddy Guy, B.B.
