Description

This sparkling new edition of 'Damned Damned Damned' contains not only the original album on Disc One but also a second disc of BBC sessions and rarities and a third containing the band's first gig supporting the Sex Pistols at the 100 Club. An exclusive fourth disc contains a rare hour-long documentary on the making of the album and the events leading up to it, with comments from the band and contemporaries such as Chrissie Hynde and Glenn Matlock.

The box is packed with rare photos (some never seen before) as well as a brand new essay from Mojo's Kieron Tyler, who for the first time interviews all four members of the band to provide a great background to the album - all encased in a fanzine-style book.

'The Damned Disciples Song Book' in its original hardback form and with the album's lyrics illustrated with great photos is also made available exclusively to this set for the first time since 1976. There are also three badges and a poster containing Pete Frame's legendary Rock Family Tree of the various permutations and line-ups of this great British band.

Das Erste Punk Album überhaupt das in England erschienen ist.
The Damned waren die ersten die eine Punk Single veröffentlichten (New Rose im Oktober 1976) .
Das Album erschien im Februar 1977.
Roh ungeschliffen und schnell kommen die Songs rüber.
Verdammt geiles Album ever im Punkrock Bereich.
Das wahren noch Zeiten

Ohh.... Super!!! Obwohl es eigendlich heute "fahler" klingt als früher. Eigentlich gehört dieses Album in Guiness Buch der Rekorde... Es war die erste Punk-Scheibe überhaubt!!! Vor Sex Pistols und Co. Mein Fazit... Eine Bibel für jeden Punker!!! Kaufen!!!

"The Damned" (Dave Vanian, Brian James, Captain Sensible, Rat Scabies)sind eine der wenigen Bands aus der Frühzeit des Punk in England, die bis heute aktiv überlebt haben. "Damned Damned Damned" ist ihr erstes Album (1977) - typisch für diese Zeit: lauter und frecher Punkrock!
