Ein eigentliches Konzept-Album über New York und insbesondere die 52nd Street, die in den 40-er-Jahren das Mekka der Bebop-Jazz-Szene war.Die Songs sind abwechslungsreich und stilvoll, die Musik dazu packend mit Soul-und Jazz-Feeling. Als Gäste hat Billy Joel eine illustre Schar um sich versammelt, um nur einige zu nennen: Steve Kahn,Freddie Hubbard,Mike Mainieri,David Spinozza,Peter Cetera,Eric Gale,Dave Grusin.
