The CD Around the World by singer, songwriter, and guitarist Badi Assad comes from her journey around the world, a repertoire based on her first book "Around the World in 80 Artists". They are musicians of different styles, periods, and ethnicitys who served as a source of inspiration during her personal and professional life. With only her voice and guitar, Badi invites the listener on this tour through unusual arrangements and sensitive interpretations. Sometimes whispering in the ear, sometimes protesting, other times philosophizing about the pains of love...
