      - 62 tracks on 5 CDs including 14 exclusive tracks on the 5th disc only available in the collector?s deluxe box set.
      - DVD of 400 Days, a previously unreleased documentary film by director Martyn Atkins, made during the 1995 Wildflowers Tour.
      - DVD of previously unreleased New Years Eve 1978 Santa Monica, CA concert.
      - Vinyl of the re-mastered 1976 Official Live ?Leg bootleg album.
      - One Blu-ray disc of all 62 tracks in both stereo and surround sound. This high resolution Blu-ray is an audio only disc with basic song navigation and information displayed on the screen. The 96K 24-bit audio on the disc has 256 times more resolution than a CD providing greater detail and reproducing the music?s full dynamic range, from the softest to the loudest sounds.

      die heartbreakers waren für tom petty in erster linie immer eine liveband. auch heute noch gelten die rockigen herzensbrecher als eine der besten livekapellen überhaupt. in erinnerung geblieben sind natürlich in erster linie die studioalben. tom petty war mit den vorhandenen live-alben nie so ganz happy und hat nach der ultimativen lösung gesucht - und mit dieser box definitiv gefunden! zwei regeln galten für die auswahl: keine chronologische abfolge und keine best-of-live-zusammenstellung. deshalb gibts einige raritäten aus den letzten 35 jahren bühnengeschichte der hearbreakers zu hören, dazu gehört nicht nur das thema von "goldfinger". aber in erster linie hört man heraus, was für eine tolle band die heartbreakers in all den jahren waren und immer noch sind. das ist nicht einfach nur amirock, sondern ein amalgam aus classicrock, country, folk, blues, soul und sogar jazz. wer mehr als die vorliegenden vier silberlinge haben möchte (gutes preis-leistungs-verhältnis), darf ungeniert auf die deluxe-ausgabe zugreifen, die allerhand sammlermaterial bietet.

      Interessante und empfehlenswerte Versionen -unter anderem- sind "Learning To Fly", eine schöne akustische Nummer, "It's Good To Be King", eine zwölfminütige Version und eine Sternstunde von TP & The Heartbreakers sowie das sehr starke "Green Onions - ein Cover der B.T. & The M'Gs.
      Diese Livescheibe bietet unzählige Perlen.
      Sucht, findet und geniesst sie.

      Eine qualitative grosse und gute Auswahl von Tom Petty Songs, aber auch von gelungenen Covers.
      Unglaubliche Spielfreude.
      Werde mir noch das Deluxe Boxset kaufen.

      Diese 4-CD-Box enthält 48 Live-Titel von 1980 bis 2007 in sehr guter Tonqualität und Tom Petty mit seinen Heartbreakers in bester Spiellaune. Wer geballten Giterren-Rock gerne hört, hier kommt er/sie voll auf die Rechnung.
