Description
Anjelica Huston both directs and stars in this tale of hard times and friendship in late 1960s Dublin. Agnes Browne (Huston) is a recently widowed woman forced to bring up her seven children all by herself. Life is very difficult for her as she struggles to pay off her debts to the local loan shark (Ray Winstone) by working on a fruit and veg stall, but she still has her dreams of Tom Jones to keep her smiling.
