Medioevo. Un tranquillo ma allo stesso tempo feroce guerriero protegge il regno dai mostri e dall’occulto. La sua raccapricciante collezione di teste non è ancora completa perché ne manca solo una: quella del mostro che ha ucciso sua figlia anni fa. Accecato dalla vendetta, l’uomo viaggia a cavallo, ricorrendo alla stregoneria per raggiungere il suo obiettivo. L’atteso scontro finale però lo farà sprofondare in un mondo più terrificante della realtà dal quale sembrerà non esserci alcuna via di uscita.
