Description

Tornando da una vittoria militare, il valoroso Otello sceglie di promuovere Cassio (Theodor Loos), piuttosto che un altro fedele subalterno, Iago (Werner Krauss). I segnali di questa scelta avranno conseguenze terribili. Fedele al suo carattere di traditore, Iago architetta la caduta di Cassio, convincendo Otello che la sua sposa, Desdemona (Ica von Lenkeffy), ha una relazione proprio con quest`ultimo.
