Un noto gangster appena uscito di prigione porta a termine, con tre complici, un grosso furto. Impiega il denaro ricavato per far curare una ragazza della quale è innamorato e che non lo ricambia. Deluso e amareggiato, l'uomo si nasconde in casa dell'amante per qualche tempo; quando è costretto ad andarsene viene individuato dalla polizia.
