L’intrepida corsara Anna, meglio conosciuta come Capitan Provvidenza, è praticamente imbattibile finché non si innamora di Pierre, un altro pirata messole alle costole dagli inglesi. Questi viene comunque scoperto da Anna che non ha il coraggio di ucciderlo ma lo aiuta a fuggire insieme alla moglie. È lei a rimetterci la vita, ma Pierre è salvo.
