Samuel è un ragazzo paraplegico che vive insieme alla madre a "Villa dei Laghi", una residenza isolata circondata dai boschi. Bloccato nella villa con il divieto di allontanarsi, Samuel cresce del tutto al riparo dal mondo esterno. Tuttavia, la vita nella dimora è funestata da avvenimenti strani ed inspiegabili.
