Description

Brandermittler Sean McCaffrey, Sohn des verstorbenen Steven "Bull" McCaffrey, arbeitet inzwischen auf derselben Wache in Chicago, wie auch sein Onkel Brian (William Baldwin). Als Sean mit der Ermittlung bei einem Brand mit Todesfolge beauftragt wird, wird ihm und seiner Partnerin Maggie schnell klar, dass es sich hierbei um mehr als Routine handelt. Die Indizien geleiten sie auf einen tückischen Pfad, gesäumt von Brandstiftung, Mord und internationalem Terrorismus. I am never watching this again!

I grew up watching the original film many times and I love the first film and when I heard there was going to be a sequel, I had high expectations for it. However, I began to feel skeptical when I saw the trailer. When it was released on home media, I decided to watch it online for free and I thought it was awful beyond belief. It is so bad that I want to forget that I saw it and when I watch the first (and to me) Backdraft, the second film does not enter my mind. Please, do yourself a favor and watch Ladder 49 if you want a good post Backdraft firefighter film. Either that or The Towering Inferno.
