Sword of Vengeance is set 20 or so years after the Norman Conquest of England. It is about Anglo-Saxon rebels led by an enigmatic man called the "Shadow Walker." He and his followers want revenge against William the Conqueror for an atrocious act. To quell rebellion, William had his troops slaughter people`s livestock and sow salt into their land so they couldn`t grow crops. Consequently, people starved, and the Saxons were too busy fighting each over scraps to effectively resist the Normans.
