Description

In a Quebec prison in 1952, Bishop Bilodeau accedes to an unusual request to hear the confession of an aging convict. On entering the prison chapel, Bilodeau finds himself locked inside, held against his will, and forced to watch as the inmates stage an elaborate play - a recreation of events from forty years earlier, when Bilodeau and the confessor, Simon, were locked in a love triangle with another boy, the beautiful Vallier.

der film ist wirklich sehr schön, nur ist diese version geschnitten - nur knapp 90min statt der angegebenen (auch auf der verpackung!) 95. werde mir nun wohl oder übel anderweitig die us version holen müssen... mir war das ganze auch nur wegen einer sehr holprig editierten szene aufgefallen...

ohne zweifel einer der besten filme in denn letzten jahre .die idee ist einfach grossartig,schnitt,
kameraführung,musik und die schauspieler sind super.ein drama wo die liebe weh tut
