Four-part drama set in 1833 at the height of the British Industrial Revolution. At the heart of the story is Esther Price, a girl who works in a factory owned by the Greg family. Like many of her peers, Esther struggles with the low pay, long shifts and dangerous working conditions that were the hallmark of Britain`s factories in the 19th century.
