    Wieder einmal mehr wird einer ehemaligen sportlichen Lokalgrösse mit diesem Werk ein cineastisches Denkmal gesetzt. Im typischen Disneygewand wird mit viel Pathos eine Story aus vergangenen Tagen neu erzählt. Fazit: Wie alle Sportfilme neueren Datums, wird auch hier eine gute Mischung von Sportaction, Glitzerlack und ruhigeren Momenten abgeliefert. Nicht schlecht. Durchaus sehenswert.

    Wer Sportfilme liebt, wird auch diesen Film gut mögen. Kommt allerdings nicht an Filme wie Remember the Titans und Miracle ran! Dennoch: very good!
