Elena è giovane, specializzanda in psichiatria, sogna di recuperare i 'matti' ad una vita normale. Fausto è un 'matto' più volte ricoverato a forza ed estroso musicista. Tra paziente e dottore nasce un intimo rapporto. E' l'intreccio tra due fragili vite. Una storia densa di espressioni di 'sana follia'. Un grande amore? O una voglia matta di liberarsi?
