La breve ma intensissima storia di Bruce McLaren raccontata in questo intenso e spettacolare docufilm. Un po come il calabrone non potrebbe volare, Bruce McLaren non avrebbe piu potuto camminare. Ma, anche se gli avevano diagnosticato a nove anni la Legg-Calve-Perthes (malattia degenerativa della testa del femore), lui non ne voleva sapere: rimase due anni in trazione e, pur uscendone zoppo e con una gamba più corta dell’altra, guido cosi forte da sconvolgere i suoi contemporanei ed entrare nell’Olimpo dei costruttori automobilistici prima del trentatreesimo anno di vita.
