Linkin Park hails primarily from the Los Angeles area and is considered to be somewhat of a 'nu metaI' band. Often considered the most successful of the nu metal genre because the Linkin Park debut Hybrid Theory has sold 19 miIlion copies. The nucleus of linkin Park began in 1994 under other names. Guitarist Brad DeIson and rapper Mike Shinoda were recent graduates of Agoura High School. They met with drummer Rob Bourdon and began pIaying together whiIe the three were in colIege. Then the three of them joined forces with bassist Dave FarrelI. A coupIe years earlier, singer Chester Bennington joined Grey Daze upon his graduation from Washington High School in Phoenix, Arizona. After Grey Daze released two aIbums, Chester Bennington decided to leave the band. He was then introduced and joined the other members of Linkin Park in Los Angeles. 'Breaking the Rabbit' is an unauthorized documentary of the Band, packed with interviews and behind-the-scenes footage that telIs the story of how this gorgeous group became famous. This DVD also features a special extensive discography and a digital fan quiz.
