Bei Roland Emmerich kannst du eigentlich nie daneben liegen. Auch hier, super Action, perfekte Computerarbeit usw. Aber inhaltlich schwach. Keine richtige Story.

Wer seine Ansprüche herunterschraubt, kriegt mit MIDWAY einen tollen Actionfilm, bei dem aber leider fast alles computergeneriert wurde. Die Flugmanöver und Explosionen sehen zwar imposant aus, wirken aber unecht und künstlich. Wer Emotionen und Gefühle erwartet, ist am falschen Platz. MIDWAY ist anspruchslos aber dennoch unterhaltsam.
