London, May 1945: As VE-Day festivities continue into the night across the city, two sheltered teenagers-Princess Elizabeth and her younger sibling, Princess Margaret are allowed to leave Buckingham Palace to join in the celebration. Slipping past their chaperones so they wander unrecognized in the streets, the girls experience fun, danger, and first romance in this charming, loosely biographical comedy/drama.
