Student Stebbi wird von seinem Schulkameraden Toti in die Drogenszene von Island eingeführt. Dem berauschenden Cocktail aus schnellem Geld, Anerkennung und nicht enden wollendem Dauerpartymodus erliegt Stebbi schnell. Doch dann taucht der charismatische und skrupellose Drogenbaron Bruno mit dem Ziel auf, den Markt mit Gewalt an sich zu reissen. Stebbi und Toti sollen dem psychopatischen Berufskriminellen dabei tatkrägtig unterstützen...

Inspired by actual events. On the eve of the millennium, a student named Stebbi is arrested in a drunken brawl and reacquaints himself with a childhood friend - Toti - to help him find representation at his upcoming court date. In order to pay his debt, he agrees to join Toti`s crew. As he is drawn into the world of Iceland's drug trade he becomes the drug lord's right-hand pusher, rolling in cash, drugs and girls. But that all changes as the demands of his occupation start to interfere with the inner drug-trading circle`s protocol, and complications arise when he violates their code.

    ...milieustudie mit starken darstellern. wohltuend, ohne die ganzen hollywood-konformen dialoge. dieses independent-movie weiss mit klaustrophobischer sicherheit zu überzeugen. kriegt vom onkel phil ein:

    mal wieder was ganz schön abgefahrenes!
    ohne viel sinn und messages... ja klar wie immer;
    alles schlechte kommt auf dich zurück,,, abr das weiss ja jeder ;D
    super schauspieler super sound oberharte szenen...
    so ein richtiger nordländer.
    deep ohne richtig deep zu sein.
