Life at the Barn may never be the same after the Strike Team is dissolved and Vic and Shane are assigned to regular detective duty. Captain Aceveda is also leaving to begin his new job on the City Council. Any hope that Detective Claudette Wyms had of assuming Aceveda's command is dashed when another female, Monica Rawling, is chosen as the new captain. Although Vic often clashed with Aceveda, he quickly realizes that Captain Rawling also has her own agenda - one that not only shakes up the gangs on the streets, but causes friction among many of the detectives, as well.

Il nuovo capitano della squadra, Monica Rawling, si scontra subito con la dura legge che vige fuori e dentro il distretto. A rendere la vita ancora più difficile c`è Aceveda, che non esita a metterle i bastoni tra le ruote ogni volta che se ne presenta l'occasione. Mentre Shane e Army sono dentro a un brutto affare che potrebbe costargli la carriera, Vic segue una pista che lo porterà a far luce su una realtà sconvolgente. Nel frattempo la Rawling scopre che gli affari interni stanno indagando proprio sulla Squadra d`Aassalto e per qualcuno del distretto è arrivato il momento di cantare. Contiene 13 episodi della quarta stagione.

    Sack stark, einmal mehr! Tolle Charakterentwicklungen (Aceveda, Shane, etc.), super perfider Schurke (Antoine Maurice).
    Einziger Wermutstropfen: die Staffel war doch etwas kurz und Glen Close ist nicht mehr dabei.
    Und: besch...en finde ich, dass die anderen Sprachversionen (ital. Staffel 5, franz. Staffel 6!) vorliegen und wir wiedermal die letzten sind!!!
    An CEDE: gibt wenigstens bald das Veröffentlichungsdatum bekannt!

    Auch die 4. Staffel weiss wieder zu überzeugen.
    Wie die 3. braucht auch diese wieder ein paar Episoden bis sie in Fahrt kommt und Glen Close spielt überraschend überzeugend.

    Ich hatte das Glück die 4. Staffel vor einiger Zeit auf AXN TV (in Deutsch) zu sehen. Wie immer bietet The Shield viel Spannung, Action und gute Storys.
