When an explosion seals off a commuter tunnel, the survivors are faced with toxic fumes, fires and the impending collapse of the tunnel. Their only hope lies in the hands of Kit Latura (Stallone), a former Emergency Medical Services chief who is haunted by a tragic past. As the walls cave in and the tunnel fills up with water, Latura risks his own life to save others and prevent the disaster from escalating into an even greater catastrophe. Amy Brenneman, Viggo Mortensen, Dan Hedaya and Jay O. Sanders co-star in this thrilling adventure from director Rob Cohen (The Fast and the Furious).     Ich finde diesen Film absolut nicht schablonenhaft. Die Effekte, als das Feuer ausbrach, die Kettenreaktion von Explotionen und wie das Wasser langsam anstieg, könnten in Realität nicht übertönt werden. Nur ist alles etwas in die Länge gezogen. Gut, dass auch Wauwau gerettet wurde.

    also im gegensatz zu meinen vorgängern unter mir muss ich sagen gefällt mir der film sehr gut.tolle action mit guter spannung dazu mit SYLVESTER STALLONE.was will man mehr.

    Wohl kaum. Muss meinem Vorgänger zustimmen, absolut unrealistisch. Aber seinen wir mal ehrlich welcher Actionfim hat nicht seine Macken? Der Film ist durchaus unterhaltsam, wenn man ab und zu ein (teils zwei) Auge(n) zudrückt.
