Spirited cowgirl Hank (Linda Blair, The Exorcist) tries to save a herd of wild mustangs from a gang of poachers who don't count on being out maneuvered every step of the way.

Following the hunters into town, she releases the corralled horses and devises a plan to take them single-handedly to the safety and protection of federal land. Her rancher father, Pace (Richard Crenna, The Flamingo Kid) objects to her stubbornness but eventually agrees to let her go, proud of her grit. With gang leader Jay (Al Waxman, Net Worth) in furious pursuit, she wins the admiration of young cowboy Charlie (Michael Wincott, Talk Radio) and as word spreads, help from unlikely sources.
