When the French make a horror/gore comedy, you know things are going to get extremely rude! Best friends and hardcore partiers Sam, Alice and Prune have scored invitations to 'Medici Night', the legendary VIP bash held every year at a remote castle. But when they discover that this wild party is being thrown by an elite race of blood-crazed vampires, they'll have to stake, stab, slice, bludgeon and blast their way out of a soiree where the hosts are thirsty and the bar is now open. Is it in bad taste to massacre a horde of undead guests even if they are a total pain in the neck? Die Franzosen beweisen hier, dass sie nicht nur in Sachen Hardcore-Horror überzeugend sind, sondern auch in der Verballhornung klassischer Figuren. In diesem Fall sind es Vampire, welche eine exklusive Party veranstalten, bei welcher die Gäste auch gleichzeitig das Buffet sind. Immer wieder mit eingestreuten absurden Gags versehen, macht der Film grösstenteils richtig Laune. Was leider etwas fehlt, ist die ganz grosse Überraschung, aber trotzdem wird man vom Anfang bis zum Schluss solide und nicht alltäglich unterhalten, weswegen ich jedem Horrorkomödien_fan nur empfehlen kann, mal einen Blick zu riskieren. viel Spass!
