Krzysztof Lieslowski's Three Colours' trilogy, which explores the French Revolutionary ideals of Freedom, Equality and Brotherhood, is a land-mark of world cinema. Three Colours Blue was an immediate success, winning the top prizes at the 1993 Venice film festival and unanimous praise from critics and audiences the world over. Julie (Juliette Binoche) loses her composer husband and their child in a car crash and, though devastated, she tries to make a new start, away from her country house and a would-be-lover. But music still surrounds her and she uncovers some unpleasant facts about her-husband's life. Slowly Julie learns to live again, as music and the gift of creativity prove to be a healing force.

Da muss ich mich irmax anschliessen. dieser film ist meines erachtens der beste der absolut genialen Three color Trilogy von krzysztof Kieslowski. Sehr emotionsgeladen. eindrueckliche, doch nicht uebertriebene visualisierungen der Farbe Blau und eine sehr, sehr intelligente story. Es geht in diesem Film um eine Frau die alles das Sie liebt verloren hat und darum nicht mehr an die liebe glauben will. sie betrachtet die liebe als eine falle die einem das leben stellt. darum weint sie auch nie. was fuer ein Film!!!!

dps, entweder bist du blöd oder blind. dieser film ist ein meisterwerk. die bilder drücken alles aus, schmerz, trauer, hoffnung. die musik ist wunderschön, die schauspieler so echt wie im richtigen leben.

"Drei Farben: Blau" ist ein Experiment in vielerlei Hinsicht. Die Geschichte wird auf eine ungewöhnliche Art erzählt, die Schauspielerei ist so subtil, dass sie eigenltich nur noch aus Mimik besteht und der Soundtrack ist auch nicht gerade gewöhnlich.
Die Kritiker scheinen diesen Film zu lieben und ich verstehe auch warum. Aber mir ist "Blau" einfach zu emotionslos, zu durchkonstruiert und die einzelnen Teile wollen nicht zusammenpassen. Hinzu kommt, dass ich die Musik ziemlich schrecklich fand.
