Wallace Beery is Professor Challenger, the man who persuades his sceptical colleagues to return with him to a remote South American plateau where he has discovered living dinosaurs. Resisting danger and death, Challenger`s party return to London triumphant with a captive Brontosaurus. But the beast escapes, turning the city into a shambles and standing the 20th century on its head.

Der Film an sich ist bekannt und auch für die damalige Zeit atemberaubend. Aber die hier angebotene DVD zeigt nicht die vollständige Fassung des Filmes (der beinahe 2 Stunden dauern würde) sondern eine verstümmelte Fassung mit gerade mal 68! Minuten Lauflänge. Also aufgepasst.
