At the isolated planet of the Ba’kus (a seemingly simple race of people), the crew of the Enterprise has unveiled an unjust conspiracy between the Federation and the Son’a to exile the entire Ba’ku race from their planet. Ordered to leave and ignore his fi ndings, Captain Picard must choose between obeying Starfl eet orders or risking his crew, career and the Enterprise to protect the innocent and uphold his Starfl eet oath.

Hier scheinen die Star Trek macher etwas ruhiegere Töne einschlagen zu wollen.
Das ist gar nicht schlecht, schliesslich darf auch Jean Luc mal zeigen das er ein menschliches liebendes Herz hat und sich mal ordentlich eine hübsche einheimische verlieben kann.
Trotzdem bleibt genügend Spannung überig und Aktioneinlagen mit viel Kawumm kommen auch in diesem Streifen nicht zu kurtz.
Überzeugend wie immer kommen die grandios inszenierten Specialeffects daher.
Für Fans ein Muss.

Mit Action die sich "nicht nur" im Weltraum abspielt, ist dieser Film eine gelungene Erweiterung der Star Trek-Filme. Jedoch bin ich etwas verwirrt! ICH dachte, das " DER ERSTE KONTAKT " der achte Film gewesen sei, und " DER AUFSTAND " der neunte???? Vielleicht irre ich mich ja auch....(NEEEEEEEE!!!)
