There is always something bloodthirsty lurking in the Louisiana Bayou. But there has never, ever been anything like this. A pack of massive, genetically engineered, flesh-eating fish are combing the quiet waters of the river, searching for prey. Leaving a trail of mangled bodies along the river bank, the creatures have local authorities scrambling to uncover what is causing the carnage, and it quickly becomes clear that they are dealing with no ordinary predator - and these man-eaters far outweigh and killer they have ever come up against. Scientifically bred with a deadly snake and genetically conditioned to breathe both under water and on land, Frankenfish can hunt wherever humans tread. And they`re fast. And they`re hungry.

oh mann dieser swamp geplämpel film hat mich
fast eingeschläfert. konnte gerade noch zur vorspultaste gelangen. der schluss ist das beste, killing of the beast und der gag am ende, aber das allein hebt den schlechten rest nicht raus.

Eine laue Story, (mässige) Schauspieler die zudem in diesem Film völlig deplaziert sind und schwach gemachte SFX.
Wer auch nur ein ganz kleines bisschen auf die Details in einem Film achtet bekommt ab diesem Streifen noch Kopfschmerzen.

Ein Meisterwerk des Regisseurs von "SPAWN".
Ein wirklich sehr guter Horror-Thriller - wahrscheinlich sogar den besten den ich in den letzten 2-3 Jahren gesehen hab.
